Recalled questioned and controversial bill that sought to get bikers

UDI Deputies give step back and decide not to proceed with a project that sought to regulate use of bicycles on public roads

On Monday, Congressman Gustavo Hasbun (UDI), withdrew its signature from the bill that sought to expel the cyclists on the streets. In unison they did on Tuesday, the rest of the nine members supported the idea IDUs.

The initiative which failed to enter the House , prohibited travel on the streets to cyclists, relegating them to the sidewalks and bikeways.


The Bull total project was rejected by groups of cyclists and individuals. All this through social networks like Facebook and Twitter where demonstrations were rejections.

Gustavo Hasbun said he had "no case to keep up a project that has generated many disputes. What is needed is a comprehensive project to take the views of all parties involved"
